My male swordfish is continually chasing the female cherry barbs. Is this normal or is he a pervert?

He’s probably stressed because he’s not in salt water. Unless you mean a Swordtail of course, in which case it’s pretty normal.

Sorry to all. Swordfish indeed . Damn Microsoft spellchecker. . Anyway thanks @Blackghost for confirming that it's normal. He has females of his own species in the CT, but I guess as he is still maturing, he will eventually chase them.

You’d still need a 30ft long tank to keep them entertained at that size, the speed of them is unbelievable!
