He/She seems to be guarding the eggs. Are they fertilised. Also the partner, they’ve suck together for weeks, has decided to hangout out at the opposite side of the tank.
Does this look as it should

Not sure. I got 4 two months ago. One died after a day. Three left, a few weeks ago two teamed up and chase the other one away. A few days to a week ago, the bigger one, not the one in the picture dug a pit or hole in the sand, not too far from that stone then both of them started chasing all the fish away from them. That’s all I know. I can post more pictures tomorrow but the lights are off now.

You’ll know over the next few days if they’re fertilised. If they’re not they’ll turn white with fungus.

Put on the light briefly this morning and the pile of eggs seem to have been replaced with a pile of sand. Not sure if there’s eggs underneath but something bad seems to have happened overnight.

Aye Andy. I’ve read that in a few places. Will see what’s happening when I get back in but not looking good.
