Hi all! Hope I’m in the correct bit for this species.
I currently have 6 golden wonder panchax and have noticed that one of the females has developed a rather large belly. She’s always been a bit malformed (as you’ll be able to see in the images) but this doesn’t seem to cause any problems and no one picks on her. Not sure if this is bloat or egg related. Any advice would be helpful as I’m a newbie!
Thanks in advance

With still pictures to go on, my initial reaction is it's a spine deformity, either as a cause of muscle-mass imbalance (comparing left flank with right) or because of it. More likely genetic in origin than due to inflammation, IMO.
If she's behaving otherwise normally then I wouldn't think it's much to worry about. I have a pencilfish who's been living with that same shape for around five years!
Hopefully someone who knows more about panchax than do I may well pop along and suggest something else along the lines of your suspicions.
Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Welcome to the forum.
She may have eggs, I can't remember if they push them into sand or not when they lay.
It can exacerbate any spinal problems when any fish is holding eggs/fry.

If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
