Hello I got given some rocks that someone didn’t want anymore they have been neglected any ways or solutions to clean the crud of the rocks?

Hi matty
A diluted bleach solution should do the trick. Once washed off in clean water after, will be good to go.
Any stubborn crud perhaps a scrubbing brush or old toothbrush will help.
Superfish home 110 ,Superfish aqua pro 300 filter, + APS hob 500 filter.
Low tech set up.

Hydrogen peroxide brushed onto it and allowed to work for a short time before submerging into water, bleach and water mix also works well or another one that a lot of people do on the marine forums is a citric acid bath.

Personally I’d try the peroxide route, soak in water for 24 hours and then let it dry.
