Had the Helialux LED lights on my Juwel. tank for around 6 years and started to get a few algae problems recently.
I wondering if this could be due to the intensity of the LEDs starting to wane.

What is the typical lifetime of the LED set up ?
The replacement would be the multilux 60 but then if I want to add the smart.control to it 💷💷💷

They say they should last about 50,000 hours for LED lights, all depends on how many hours per day you've had them on. :]

Diatoms and black hair .

I've given it a.Good clean and removed so the drift wood which was feeling really soft.
50.% water change and we'll see what happens .

Did notice that I had no Armano left so that's the clean up crew gone missing

It's the jewel Helialux so it does a 10 hour cycle with sunrise/set.
Full daylight is around 6 hrs, will need to check tomorrow

If your having algae issues I'd lessen those hours still further. My two AquaSkys are only on full power for little over three hours everyday.

Amano shrimp. If your aquarium is heavily planted your probably find their still in there. I only ever see my shrimp occasionally. :]
