Java fern, anubia of different varieties, Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' , but my favourites have to be the buccephalandras which are currently all blooming their lovely small white flowers . I dont use ferts nor co2 they just soak up nutrients that are in the tank and are doing great

I do like Anubias, got a few nana in the one tank along with Bucephalandra & 2 java ferns. It's how far down the line of biosphere I want to go in terms of only Amazonian species though, won't be doing it for a specific river, just regional. That's where the epiphytes get difficult because they seem to be either African or Asian

I faced the same issue, to be fair, its really roots in the water and not an abundance of plants for that region and i also added the extra limitation of not wanting to use ferts or co2

I think I'll bin off being too specific with the planting. & won't be using CO2 either. I'll add a bit of leaf zone as and when I remember.
This is the tank at the moment (no fish).Echinodorus Parvoflorus, Alternanthera Rosaefolia, Helanthium Quadricostatus & Tenellum Green, Staurogyne Repens. Thinking of adding a few floaters to bring the light level down a bit without being a lot of trimming work.

And yes the one cobble is doing some buoyancy control for a bit

Thanks, prefer this to my first effort 🤣 needs to be dual aspect as it's on the corner as you enter a room, took a while until I was happy.

This is the other view. Just need to wait for the Echinodorus to hide the filter/heater now
