Nope, only losses have been hair and sleep 😂 daily testing and near daily water changes have kept things under control

Sorry, I can't help about night time fetishes but it's great you've finally cycled.

I have problems keeping h.trilineatum, even when they were still c.trilineatus ;) , and I have no idea why.
I have problems with some other corydoradine species as well, but the trils looked good in the tank when I had them.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

What sort of issues were you getting? Anything to look out for?

Originally I wanted Elegans, but these caught my eye. Supposed to be hardier than Julii as well

Yes they are, but I just can't keep them longer than about a year, they just don't like my water as far as I can tell.
They should live to around 20, so it's quite disappointing when they don't.
I have pandas and gossei that have done well so far. Delphax were ok, but I think the loaches I had did for them (I'll never keep loaches and corys together again), sterbai got to around 10.
Hastatus and habrosus lasted weeks, and pygmeus are hit-and-miss, I still have some though. C48 were ok for about 12 years. I haven't had aneus or paleatus since 1970 as far as I remember - and I lived in London then, so completely the wrong water....
