Has anyone ever used this site and bought fish from them? I’m thinking of a new set up for a betta and some of their examples are real nice
If no good any other recommendations for betta fish online, both females and males as I want to add to my sorority too

If anyone want to view this site, here's the link: Bettafish Thailand
Don't wish to rain on your parade @Craigus215 but two issues spring to mind.
I'm not entirely sure about import livestock laws regarding say, for one or two fish. You would have check with either DEFRA or Cefas on the .GOV website.
Secondly, shipping costs. UPS and DHL charge a flat fee of $55 worldwide for a small package. Add the cost of two fish £50 each and you'll soon hit the import tax threshold of £135 and VAT ...useless this company is going to list the package as a gift.
There's plenty of specialist Betta dealers here in the UK and would be a hell of lot cheaper.

My usual supplier has standard Betta and Elephant Ear
https://www.aquaticstoyourdoor.co.uk/pr ... ting-fish/
They also have photographed Betta...ie...what you order is the fish that you receive
https://www.aquaticstoyourdoor.co.uk/pr ... -fighters/
I have always had my fish from this supplier and they have never let me down with bad fish in the last 10+ years.

I hadn’t even thought of imports ect, good shout.
I’ll take a look at some of those links then, just that the one I posted keeps coming up in my searches and their stock and website looks great.
On break now so I’ll take a look at some you guys have mentioned

Thanks for that. I had checked Google review score but didn't look close enough- seems to spend a lot of time writing clever responses to negative reviews!PaulVerrall wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 4:29 amAwful place. Chens Betta have some stunning fish. Worth a look on Facebook to see what they have.

Would be worth contacting them through Chens discus as I can't see that they have a separate webpage. They're on Instagram as well.
