December update
All the fish are doing well.
Replacement plants are all in.
Changed the Juwel LED Day (9500k) to the Juwel LED Colour (4425k) to see if the algae improves. The algae is still there but building up more slowly than previous.
I added the 1000L/h circulation pump and repositioned the filter outlet nozzle.
There are some issues (see my other thread) Everything turning black & algae ??
This is being addressed with the help of Vale! The other thread will be updated soon.
I am still considering upgrading the Juwel internal filter to an external filter with spray bar (maybe in the new year).
I much prefer an external filter.
This Juwel Lido 120 (120L) is to be used as a breeding tank and I want to mature it first and deal with the current issues.
The current stock is only temporary.
I am hoping to breed my Gold laser cory (CW010), I already have some LFS interested, but not until the late Spring at the earliest.

Yesterday (Thursday) I done a large water change, syphoned the sand, cleaned the algae off the glass and filter box and also gave the piece of bogwood a quick scrub.
Today I removed the filter media to give it a gentle clean. It wasn't that dirty but still gave it a gentle clean.
I also done a slight adjustment of the media (see image below), this has now got an empty space as in the Juwel default set up but still with my re-arranged media.
