Just a little update.
Levels looking good. Water change done today (30 litres). Diatoms making themselves known so got most off the substrate to make it look better. Fingers crossed it’ll disappear over the next couple of weeks.
Nemmy the anemone and Duncan the, er, Duncan ( ) seem to be doing well so far. Both have had a few little pellets for their dinner this evening
The Marine with No Name!! Nano Reef-ish

Sooooo.......been ages since I’ve updated.
Had a lovely brown slime snot goo outbreak (most likely cyano) but that is now sorted after a water change. Thankfully it didn’t take over the whole tank and get horribly out of control. There are some real horror stories online!!
On Sunday went off to find some clean up crew. Came home with these guys:
Banded Trochus snail
Nassarius snail. Bit dark but he was down in the substrate within seconds of putting him in there but luckily saw him this morning just as I put the light on. Two seconds after this pic he was gone again
Bumblebee snail. Also disappeared rapidly but has been spotted since
Now I’d like to introduce Emmy the emerald crab who is ace except for not eating the bit of green bubble algae I have (typical that I get a fussy one!) but he is eating lots of other algae type stuff
Duncan and Nemmy are both looking good. Much better than the zoa colony I have (how is it I can keep more difficult corals but not the easy ones?? Lol)
All levels looking good, I’m happy with progress so far. Just need to rob a bank or win the lotto now to get it stocked quicker haha!
Oh. Prices. Emmy was £14 and the snails £3 each.

Just had a look at Kole Tangs. They’re very nice looking but the few sites I looked at were saying 70US gallons minimum. My tank is too small
