Some other changes to the tank aswell, removed the plastic strip from around the top of the tank, looks more bigger and open plus an extra 1" of viewing space at the top, got rid of the smaller 4ft led light felt it was just too bright, I am now just using the 6ft light. Trimmed a lot of the plants down and replanted the top which are growing well.

I'll be adding some darker sand and plant substrate as well this weekend.

It would be nice to get some baby whiptails. ;) :D
Males may get a bit squabbly for territory, but your tank is 6' isn't it - not much of a space problem there.

Added a bag of Seachem Flourite black sand got another 3 on order. Off to get some fish soon.

I like the flourite black sand Ste.

Will keep an eye out for the fish you buy.
64l kitchen tank: 16 golden tetra.
5ft 425L: 3 blue angel fish, 30 rummie nose tetra, 20 black neon tetra, 1 longfin bristlenose plec, 2 corydoras sterbai, 24 corydoras duplicareas,2 SAE.

Thanks Andy, just picked up a group of 8 Diamond tetras, nice looking fish. Not going to stock too heavy plan to get a couple of other groups of small fish, trying to avoid any more cichlids as the Bolivians are settled into there own little turf and the small female aggazzi runs the whole tank.

Hi everyone little update for you, tanks been running well got a few new inhabitants, pair of honey gouramis, a male agazzi and had to rescue a male platty from my sons tank. Diamond tetras are doing very well grew real big too lovely colours.
