If the tank was 4'+ it would be more likely to work with a betta.
Anything below that is so hit-and-miss it's best to keep them on their own. Plus you can control their eating and avoid digestive problems. ;)

Haven’t had an update in a while, so here you go. Really pleased with my plant growth and the activity. Pretty sure that’s my stock done, maybe just shrimp from here on.

Oh I just did a feed sorry the water is usually floater free. And the tetra with the fungus on the mouth seems to be improving.

I didnt honestly think plants could grow so bloody fast, well the root plants anyway. I guess it would be rude not to have another tank to make use of them!

Its far from perfect there is still some brown algae and dark string algae about but I am cutting down the lights to see if that help! Appreciate the comments!

Lovely tank. What are those two tall, background plants in the first pic above please?

limnophila sessiliflora (tropica), it grows like mad I have trimmed it several times now and it just grows back thicker and faster. The cuttings I put over to the back left of the tank behind the fern and look a bit sad for a day but soon brighten up. ITs a lovely lime shade of green and opens and closes with the light. ::thumbu::

Am I seeing what I think I’m seeing? I know it’s only a shrimp but I’m excited. Again just after a feed so was having a look round. Is there anything I can do as I an guessing most will be fish food or are they good at hiding?

Do I increase the temp to get her to pop and will my Cory be ok?

Either you're seeing what you're seeing, or someone's eaten too much tapioca pudding! ;)
