Got one today, he/she has coloured up lovely but he/she has been glass surfing for about 5 hours now, just up and down and up and down. Occasionally he/she will cruise around and land of things but then revert to glass surfing up and down. Should I be worried? Other fish dont seem bothered and Ammonia/ Nitrite and nitrate levels are 0, all light are off apart from a table lamp. Such a lovely fish, should I be worried?

I’ve never kept garras but glass surfing is quite common with a lot of fish when introduced to a new tank, I’d just leave him be & keep an eye from afar, he should settle in a day or so.

Panda garra enjoy being in a flowing stream set up with well oxygenated water.
Panda garra can grow to a little over 3.5 inches.
They can also literally climb glass so make sure that your tank is tightly covered.

All the best

Seems to have finally settled, he was all around the bottom and then seemed to make himself a den, he kind of backed up to a rock and reverse burrowed backwards to make a small hole. I'm guessing algae wafers and frozen protein food is best?
