Morning all, thought I'd introduce myself here.
I took a year out due to work commitments and being away from home due to training etc, now back to it and in the process of cycling my Fluvial Vicenza LED 180l.
I used to run 3 tanks a year back, all planted, low tech, brother ended up taking on my fish at the time when I closed them all down.
Looking forward to starting this 180l over the next few weeks, just in the planning phases now, also trying to learn from previous mistakes/ learn from things I wish I'd done differently.
Where in the forum would be best to enquire about stocking advise/ plant selection for the above tank? Looking to go very low maintenance, easy plants that don't need co2 or substrate.
Cheers
Olly

Hello and welcome to .
Stocking depends on loads of things really. The main bit being your water supply.
Do you have hard or soft water in your area? This can be checked on your suppliers website.
Once you have this, recommendations are the easy bit! Do you want a shoal of smaller fish or fewer larger fish? Bottom feeders, mid water, top lever or a mix of everything?

Welcome to the forum.
Start a Tank Log in the "What's happening in your Aquarium" section, then we can see what you're up to and advise accordingly.
Oh, and don't listen to @Martinspuddle's recommendation of piranhas - that's his little foible.

Hello and welcome
There’s a specific section for planted tanks, scroll down the front page and you will find it. I’m not sure about general fish/stocking questions as I always wonder where to put those myself!MrHammonds wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2021 6:23 am Where in the forum would be best to enquire about stocking advise/ plant selection for the above tank?
