My Eheim bargain of the year

I have just bought and collected a 2nd-hand Eheim Pro4 250 (2271) for only £25.00 (everything included, pipework, media etc..)
A shame it wasn't for sale 8 weeks ago when I paid £135.99 for a brand new one for my 120L aquarium.
My bargain of the year.

Well at that price, certainly not

Although the filter has been cleaned I will do my own cleaning today.
I will take the filter apart (not literally) and clean the media baskets, media, impeller etc..
I will likely clean the Eheim substratpro and then bake it dry in the oven which will also kill off any nasties.
I will replace the blue pre-filter (I have spares) and the filter floss (I also have spares).
I will also replace the tubing.

At the moment the filter will be a spare but I'm thinking maybe attach a UV to it or something at a later stage.

I completed the cleaning of the Eheim Pro4 250 external filter. (It was fairly clean anyway but I just wanted to play safe).
The blue pre-filter sponge and filter floss were replaced with new.
The tubing was cut up and binned.
The substratpro (biological media) was washed and then baked dry in the oven (The media was clean anyway but again I just wanted to play safe).
All clean and like new; the filter even smells new so can't been that old.
