Soon I will be going away for five days, which is the first time I’ve gone away since setting up the tank.
Any advice on what foods to get that can go in the tank and will last for a while? I don’t think I would have space under the lid for an electronic feeder (tank is a Fluval shaker), although I’ve never seen an electronic feeder, so can’t be sure.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.

Don’t bother. They’ll be fine for five days, two weeks even, and best to not leave food in unsupervised.

I generally feed my fish before I leave and then when I return.
If it's only for a few days I even turn the aquarium lights off.

Thanks so much for all the replies, I feel reassured now that they will be fine to leave while I’m away..
As a side note, I’m really enjoying my fish, much more than I thought possible.
At the beginning, I was worried a few would perish due to my inexperience, but everyone has survived, thrived even, and they have grown quite significantly.
I attribute this to all of the excellent advice I’ve got from the forum. Thank you!
