That's normal for plecs to have the markings, they can mean lots of different things, but the main reason is camouflage. :)
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Thanks i was told that plecos can camouflage and i had hoped t was this, he is still not showing signs of stress/illness other than colour change so i hope all is good.  I have tested my water and il post the results, i need to raise my KH & PH if im reading this correctly & my nitrates are a little high i think? plankton wrote: That's normal for plecs to have the markings, they can mean lots of different things, but the main reason is camouflage. :)
