Unsure whether to go planted or just rocks, sand and branches (possible biotope) maybe a mix of plants, rocks, sand and branches.
Stocking ?
I have researched many river systems so likely a theme based on one of those river systems.
I am leaning towards stocking based around Corydoras Concolor and Corydoras Delphax (Rio Orinoco basin in Colombia or Venezuela) but more intense research needed.
Here is my potential stocking based on a Juwel Rio 450L aquarium:-

6 x Orinoco eartheater (Biotodoma wavrini),
12 x False Blochi Corydoras (Corydoras delphax),
12 x Slate Cory (Corydoras concolor),
20 x Red Phantom Tetra (Hyphessobrycon sweglesi),
20 x Purple Tetra (Hyphessobrycon metae),
2 x Green Phantom Pleco (Hemiancistrus subviridis L200)

...erm... that’s not a red phantom.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

Ooops! now corrected lol

note:
The Orinoco eartheater (Biotodoma wavrini) is very similar to the Cupid cichlid (Biotodoma cupido). :)

Lots of colour with this selection :)

Today I started to clean the Juwel Lido 120L (I've been putting it off).
The water level has been lowered ready to remove the sand and then clean.
I disconnected the Eheim Pro4 250 external filter and gave it a clean.

Tomorrow the pipework will be removed and cleaned along with the external Hydor in-line heater.
I will then attempt to carefully clean the aquarium.

I am trying to do this before my advert goes live next week.

The problem is that it's too hot.
I'm hardly getting 3 hours sleep a day and I'm tired.
I can't sleep upstairs as it's too hot.

Then hopefully it'll be the big 6 footer's turn to be cleaned.

The Juwel Lido 120 is now ready for sale.
I have not started the 6 footer yet, just waiting for a phone call (Monday) before starting the 6 footer.

I'm putting the sale of the 6 foot aquarium on temporary hold.
My favourite LFS is unable to take my existing stock of fish (owner's decision) although the manager is happy to take them, so I'm a bit stuck.
I was hoping to have a delay between selling the 6 footer and buying a new aquarium to enable sourcing new stock etc.. and getting things ready (without any rush).
I'll still sell the 120L and spare external filter.

Oh well :(

27 x Bleeding heart tetra (Hyphessobrycon erythrostigma)
2 x Snowball Pleco, L102 (Hypancistrus inspector)
