Ok that’s great, I’ve ordered the API Freshwater Master Kit, is that one any good? I could have swore I’d cycled properly, I had high levels weeks ago of nitrate and nitrite which I got down, also had my bacterial bloom which I let settle in its own. I then added a few more fish. Would a mass influx of food cause a spike, my daughter put far too many pellets in last week while I was on nights , which I vaccumed up at 06:00 am

That could cause a spike, it's not unknown for a mini-cycle to happen when you change something.
