Right, default theme and guest style has been changed but I haven't forced it on registered members as I still want to give people the choice

What about a fish of the month competition as well for those of us who aren't that fussed on the appearance of the tank? I enjoy setting tanks up in a way that I think works for different species, rather than well placed plants with good growth etc.

I think the old forum had it where it was similar to the old tank of the month here?

It could always have a theme that suits most people here. Catfish month, tetra month etc

I really like the fish of the month idea, it would be good if people did a little write up of the fish their experience of owning it, just a few lines, I know you can look up parameters etc online but that is different to peoples lived experience, how it interacts with other fish in a community, is it a shy or bold fish for example, most Facebook groups have banner comps and they are often pictures of fish but usually no write ups which is a shame.
